5 people arrested for burglarizing dead person's home

Five people were arrested in Lake County on Friday after reportedly burglarizing the home of a person who recently died.

The Lake County Sheriff says that officers were dispatched to a "vehicle slide-in"in the Polson area at about 12:30 a.m.

Deputies saw a stuck pickup truck near a home belonging to a recently deceased person, and saw footprints in the snow between the truck and the home.

The officers also saw numerous tools and other items in the back of the truck, placed on top of fresh snow.

The investigation determined that the five people had burglarized the residence.

The Sheriff's Office identified the following suspects:

  • Glenn Reum of Polson, 63 years old; arrested for burglary
  • Bryan Williams of Pablo, 30; arrested for burglary and obstructing a peace officer for providing false identification
  • Annie Couture of Pablo, 51; arrested for burglary
  • Ida Couture of Pablo, 21; arrested for burglary
  • Alyscia Cloudrobe, 23; arrested for burglary and an outstanding warrant

The Lake County Sheriff's Office says that the Montana Highway Patrol and the Polson Police Department provided assistance in the case.
