Still bitterly cold, but warmer temps are on the way

New Year's Day: Sunny and cold, with a high near 5. Wind chill values as low as -35. West wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the afternoon.

Tonight: Patchy freezing fog before 11pm. Mostly clear, with a temperature rising to around 12 by 1am. Wind chill values as low as -9. South southwest wind 7 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 22 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 31. Wind chill values as low as -4. Southwest wind 9 to 13 mph. Tuesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 20. West southwest wind around 7 mph.

Wednesday: Sunny, with a high near 36. South southwest wind around 11 mph. Wednesday Night: Mostly clear, with a low around 18.

Thursday: Sunny, with a high near 36. Thursday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 25.

Friday: Partly sunny, with a high near 43. Friday Night: A slight chance of snow after 5am. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 31.
