Jessie Royer of Tabiona, Utah won the 33rd annual Race to the Sky near Lincoln after crossing the finish line at 7:23 p.m. on Monday.

The former Montana musher finished the 300-mile race with 10 dogs.

She's no stranger to winning the race as she's taken the top honors in 1994, 2015, and 2016.

Belt's Rick Larsen won the 100-mile adult race.

He arrived at the finish line at 7:06 a.m. on Sunday just one minute before his nearest competitor.

The 2018 Young Living Race to the Sky dog sled event launched at 11 a.m. on Saturday with 21 competitors traversing at least 100 miles.

The competition rundown included three sections: a 300-mile race for adults, a 100-mile race for juniors, and a 100-mile race for adults.

Mushers traveled from Lincoln to Ovando and Seeley Lake for the 100-mile finish while the 300-mile race took mushers back through Ovando for a finish at Hi-Country Snack Foods near Lincoln.

Aside from Larsen, local competitors included Great Falls' own Brett Bruggeman and Spencer Bruggeman, Fairfield resident Miriam Osredkar, and Power's Clayton Perry.
