A pair of musically-named canines hope to strike a chord with judges at the 142nd Westminster Dog Show in New York City.

"Chello", a Cesky Terrier from McAllister, and "Viola," a Cirnechi dell’Etna from Stevensville, are both competing in the Olympics of dog shows.

Chello is owned by Julie Gritten and Richard Cotter. Viola’s owner is Lynda Kieres.

A trio of Wyoming dogs is also competing in the show.

Kiara and Rae, a pair of Miniature American Shepherd, and Zoey, an Australian Terrier, are all registered in the show.

Kiara and Rae are owned by Jerisha Ganske and Jeanie McAdams. Zoey is owned by Eva Campbell.

Both Wyoming dogs are from Gillette.

The Best in Show competition is scheduled for Tuesday night.

A German Shepherd was awarded Best in Show at the 2017 Westminster Dog Show.
