Temperatures are on the rise and so is the flooding concern.
Not only are we tracking rising temperatures this week, showers and thunderstorms are also expected.
A few weather disturbances will track across the state on Monday, which will likely provide enough atmospheric energy to kick off a few thunderstorms.
A few of these storms will be capable of producing gusty winds, small hail, and heavy rain.
I don’t expect these storms to be overly significant in nature however, the elements needed to produce more severe storms will be present on Monday.
We will monitor the movements of these storms very closely and let you know if they are tracking toward areas currently seeing flooding.
Keep an eye on our STORMTracker Facebook page for the latest and most up to date information.
Temperatures will cool slightly into Wednesday, and more rain is likely.
By Friday conditions are expected to dry out, with temperatures flirting with the 60s.
