Community Connection: Bluegrass In The Park
Jay Russell with the Lewis and Clark Foundation stopped by KRTV to talk about Bluegrass in the Park this year, which takes place Friday, June 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Gibson Park Bandshell.
Russell says the event is in it's 3rd year and kicks off the Lewis and Clark Festival, which takes place June 15-17.
The concert will feature two Montana bands, Laney Lou and the Bird Dogs from Bozeman and Two Big Franks from Livingston. The two bands will play in a jam session from 9:30 p.m.-10:00 p.m. to end the night.
Gates open at 5:00 p.m. and the concert starts at 6:00.
Tickets are $15 in advance, and $20 the day of. Children 12 years old and under are free when accompanied by a paying adult. They can be purchased from the Mansfield Box Office, which can be reached at 406-455-8514.
The evening will also feature microbrews along with domestics and wine and food concessions.
No dogs or coolers are allowed, but attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and blankets.
