Breezy conditions will continue Wednesday as a high-pressure ridge builds over the state.
Due to this area of high pressure, temperatures are expected to reach the low 80s throughout Central Montana and the mid to high 80s along the Hi-Line.
Our next weather system is still on track and should begin impacting Montana on Thursday.
Scattered showers are expected on Thursday and Friday as this system approaches.
Storms that do kick off will remain isolated and likely short lived.
We will also see a significant drop in temperature on Thursday and Friday.
Temperatures will once again remain in the low 70s for daytime highs for Central Montana.
We will also continue to experience breezy conditions as one weather system move in and another moves out.
Saturday and Sunday will bring the best chances for widespread rain.
Early forecast models are suggesting that the area of low pressure associated with this system will stall out once making its way inland.
If this ends up being the case, this will allow for ample amount of moisture to be drawn into the state.
The rainy and cooler weather is expected to last into the first part of next week.
