(GREAT FALLS) Phillip McClendon and Brianna White have been named by the Great Falls Police Department as the two people who were taken into custody on Monday night in connection with a shooting.
The shooting happened at or near the 2J's Fresh Market complex along Smelter Avenue at Division Road at about 10:40 p.m.
According to detectives, three people were involved; all are said to have been probation at the time.
The man who was shot was taken to Benefis Health System; his current medical status has not been disclosed, nor has his name; the GFPD said on Monday night that he had sustained at least two gunshot wounds.
As of Tuesday afternoon, charges have not yet been filed in connection with the shooting.
According to the Montana Department of Corrections, McClendon has a conviction for theft in Cascade County, and White has a conviction in Cascade County for criminal possession of dangerous drugs.
