A woman was struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident in Great Falls on Tuesday night, according to the Great Falls Police Department.
Emergency crews responded to Central Avenue West near 10th Street around 11 p.m.
Great Falls Police and an ambulance were at the scene and the woman was transported to the hospital.
The extent of her injuries and her identity are unknown at this time.

(UPDATE) The GFPD says that a man and a woman were walking across Central Avenue West when a small white SUV struck the woman.
The woman's injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
GFPD is continuing to search for the SUV, which is said to have minor damage to its passenger side and mirror.
