Gina D. Hansen passed away on Saturday, October 24, 2020, from natural causes while at home with her son, Joshua and long-time boyfriend, Lew Plainbull.
Gina was born November 29, 1963, to James E. and Cecilia Hansen in Bedford, England. With her father being in the U.S. Air Force, her childhood was spent across a variety of states, and included England three times. Her last time in England, she completed high school in Fakenham, England.
After the last trip to England, a move to Omaha, Nebraska, and her father’s military retirement, she and her family ultimately returned to her fathers’ hometown, Great Falls, Montana.
Gina loved baking, specializing in cookies, especially during the holidays, and was generous with sweet treats to family and friends.
As much as she loved touring the state and working at growing her own vegetables as often as possible, her true joy came from her two sons, Joshua James and John Michael Hansen, both from Great Falls. She enjoyed watching them grow into young men, and was incredibly proud of the men they have become.
