On December 30, 2020, my dear sweet husband, Terry Nelson Daugherty was called to heaven. After thirty years of pain due to a logging accident, he is finally at peace. He called me his “Darling Bride” to everyone for thirty years.

Terry was born in Des Moines, IA on October 12, 1950. He grew up in Iowa where his family had a corn farm. When he was in the third grade, his family moved to Montana. Terry graduated from Helena High School in 1968. He spent two years in Forestry School in Missoula. Then Terry worked in various mills throughout Montana and ended up in Seeley Lake, MT logging and working at the Pyramid Mill. He had such a love for the woods and logging with amazing friends. He also had such a love for Indian and Harley Davidson motorcycles and old cars. Studebaker was his favorite.

He was truly a very kind, caring man. Terry and Darcy met in Seeley Lake in 1989. They had a beautiful lake wedding on July 20, 1991, with the whole town of Seeley Lake, MT.
