GREAT FALLS — There will be a "Community Baby Shower" in Great Falls on Saturday, September 21st.

Deb Huestis visited KRTV to talk about the free event.

It will be at Whittier Elementary School (305 8th Street North) from 10 a.m. until noon.

The event will connect expecting parents with social service agencies, and there will be a prizes and snacks.

The Facebook Event Page states:

Yours, Mine, Ours: Let’s Unite to Keep Kids Safe!
The Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect Taskforce (PCAN) is an established coalition working to generate preventative actions and encourage social responsibility in our community to care for ALL of our children. In September, our medical leaders will be hosting a Community Baby Shower to help connect new and expectant mothers to community resources. We also hope to arm some of our highest need families with products to support their success.
