On October 24th, the Middle School Career Fair and L.I.F.E. Event will provide students with an opportunity to explore careers and encourage them to think seriously about their futures. Take a look at the different opportunities with each event and chose the one that best matches your interests and schedule.
Event: Middle School Career Fair
Organizers: United Way and the Great Falls School District
Purpose: to expose 8th-grade students to a broad variety of career pathways. We aim to have offerings from each of the 15 Montana Career Pathways.
Volunteer Options:
- Speaker: best suited to people who can present an interactive, engaging presentation in which students are actively involved in the learning
- Your task: speak with 20-30 students for 30-minute intervals about your job and career
- Your time commitment: half or full day of service on Thursday, October 24

- Mock Interviewer: best suited to people who can listen to students and provide constructive feedback
- Your task: work with 3-6 students for one-hour intervals to teach the steps of interviewing
