MISSOULA — Missoula County Search and Rescue has been assisting in searching for a 56-year-old man in the Gold Creek area.
The man was located and was en route to a hospital just before 4 pm on Sunday.
The man is experiencing medical issues, according to law enforcement.
He has a cell phone and has been in contact with law enforcement since around 11:30 Sunday morning.
The Bureau of Land Management, Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks, the US Forest Service, Two Bear Air, and fire departments also provided assistance in the search.
