Eileen Laskowski, Education and Programs Manager at the C.M. Russell Museum stopped by the MTN Studio to talk about the Great Falls Museums Consortium Sunday Sampler, which takes place Sunday, April 8 from noon-5 p.m.

The Sampler comes once a year and is an opportunity for families to visit the area’s 10 museums for free, while also joining in on events including a scavenger hunt for each museum along the chance to win a prize gift basket from one of the museums.

The scavenger hunt map was sent to Great Falls Public School and will go home with students in their Wednesday Envelope fliers on April 4. Laskowski says each museum has activities tailored to it’s history collection.

Museums include: C.M. Russell Museum, Montana Museum of Railroad History, Children’s Museum of Montana, The History Museum, Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, Ursuline Retreat, Conference Centre & Museum, Galerie Trinitas (next to Chapel Tower, UP Campus), Lewis & Clark National Historic Trail Interpretive Center, Malmstrom Air Force Base Museum and First People’s Buffalo Jump State Park and National Historic Landmark.
