The fourth annual No More Violence Conference begins this week and Great Falls College MSU has a variety of presentations and speakers to help showcase the event.
The event is presented by Partnering for Prevention, a nonprofit organization solely dedicated to organizing and conducting the annual conference.
Speakers from around the country will speak during the week, including Shan Foster of YWCA Nasvhille’s AMEND Together, and former NBA basketball player. Foster will speak on "Men’s Role in Ending Violence Against Women."
Members from Illuminate Colorado will also speak during the week, presenting "Overcoming Barriers to Protect Children from Sexual Abuse."
My Life My Choice out of Boston will touch on topics including survivor healing and sex trafficking prevention nationwide, and Dr. Kathryn Wells, MD, of the Kempe Center at the University of Colorado School of Medicine will present "Substance Use and the Impact on Children."
The conference will take place at Great Falls College MSU located 2100 16th Avenue South.
