Reggie Watts visits KRTV

Reggie Watts, the Great Falls High School graduate who is the musical director of the CBS program "The Late, Late Show with James Corden, visited KRTV on Wednesday. 

Watts is a 1990 graduate of Great Falls High School and often visits his hometown. He is known for his creative musical talent and humor, and has been featured as a performer on many other TV programs and late night talk shows.

In 2013, he returned for an event at the University of Great Falls, and told KRTV, "I learned all my music here, I learned piano, I played violin, I did orchestra, I did drama…Great Falls really is a big part of who I am, and I am really proud to be from Great Falls, Montana."

In addition to his late night duties, Watts will host an upcoming series on Comedy Central called "Taskmaster," and he has a new album due out may 11th.

While he has a busy schedule in Los Angeles, he’s always happy to come back home to Montana, saying that he enjoys visiting some of his favorite local businesses and hanging out with long-time friends.

During his visit to KRTV on Wednesday, Watts said that the is passionate about inspiring young people, particularly when it comes to art and science, and he appreciates that he is able to be an advocate for education.
