(MISSOULA) This month’s A Waiting Child features James who’s hoping his forever family brings some video games when they come to find him.
This 11-year-old knows what he’s about: "I’m a technology freak.”
He loves to play games from Mario Cart to more complicated ones and studies the work of other gaming experts on YouTube.
“Well, my favorite genre is games like platformers, or like platformers — third person shooters," James said.
He says a relationship with his future father is really important to him, as well as sharing some particular interests.
“That they like gaming definitely…or they’d be willing to learn gaming, since it might as well be a father and son relationship, right?" James said.
"That’s what I see in a family, a father and son relationship, and I ain’t giving up who I am," he added.
James is hoping to come in first place with a great family — like he’s accustomed to with his games.

Children who are available for adoption through the Child & Family Services Division of the Montana Department of Public Health & Human Services have been removed from their own families because of abuse, neglect, or other family problems that make it unsafe for them to remain at home.
The rights of their parents have been terminated making the children available for adoption.
Who May Adopt?
Either married couples or single adults who have an approved pre-placement evaluation or adoptive home study may adopt in the State of Montana.
How do I get a home study?
If you live in Montana, you may begin the process by contacting your county office of Child and Family Services. If you live outside of Montana, contact your state or local office that provides these services.
What about training?
Montana Child and Family Services requires and provides special training to all of our foster and adoptive parents. The training is offered at various times and places around the State of Montana.
