Emergency crews are responding to a crash on Highway 87 just north of Great Falls.
The crash happened at about 5:20 p.m. on Thursday.
It’s located near mile marker 5 of Highway 87.
The Montana Highway Patrol website indicates that at least one person has been injured.
Traffic is backing up in both directions at this point.
The cause of the crash is not yet known, but it is possible that the wet road conditions may have played a role.
Drivers should avoid the area if possible for a while, or expect delays as emergency crews work to help the victims and clear the scene.
