2 people in custody after police respond to disturbance in Great Falls

A man has been taken into custody after allegedly firing a gun in Great Falls.

Police responded a report of at least one gunshot at about 10:35 a.m. on Friday along the 700 block of 4th Avenue SW.

Initial reports indicate that no one was injured.

The name of the suspect has not yet been released.

Police cleared the scene and left at about 11:15 a.m.

Officers at the scene declined to provide any details about the situation.

(UPDATE) The GFPD says that officers were called to a report of a disturbance between a man and a woman.

There was a report of a man with a firearm.

They have not yet been able to confirm if shots were fired or a weapon was found.

Two men were arrested for warrants and a vehicle was impounded.
