April 21st is National Local Yarn Shop Day, and two Great Falls businesses plan to celebrate.
Local Yarn Store Day is a brick-and-mortar yarn shop appreciation day created by the National Needlarts Yarn Group.
This inaugural LYS Day is designed to show support for small businesses while bringing together a unique community of knitters, crocheters, weavers and spinners to drive awareness and celebrate the craft.
Farmer’s Daughter Fibers will be debuting their new retail space at 210 17th Street North, and Fibre House will host an open house from 10am – 3pm; Fibre House is located at 205 9th Ave South, Suite 102.
If you visit both location, you can have your NLYS Day card (available at either location) punched, and be entered for a chance to win two baskets full of fiber goodies.
Fibre House is owned by Donde Hayes and Melissa Kovacich, who purchased Pam’s Knit ’N’ Stitch in February of 2017.
