Jason Michael Saliva faces a felony charge for allegedly hitting a woman with a car.
According to court documents, Great Falls police were dispatched to a Great Falls business on February 15 for a report of a male/female disturbance.
The officer made contact with a woman who was crying in the driver’s seat of a car. The woman told the officer she had been hit by a vehicle driven by Saliva.
The woman had marks on her legs and feet that appeared consistent with being struck by a car.
There was also a large scruff mark on the left rear bumper where the woman said contact was made between the two vehicles with her being caught between them.
The woman said she was about to wash the car when Saliva approached her and an argument started.
The court documents state that he demanded she get in his vehicle and when she refused, he slashed one of her tires with a knife.
The woman said he then returned to his vehicle and as she was standing at the rear of her car, Saliva deliberately drove his vehicle at her, striking her in the left knee, and pinning her between the two cars.
The woman was later transported to Benefis Health System.
Two witnesses reported seeing a male intentionally strike the woman with his vehicle and pin her between the two bumpers.
The documents state that it appeared the male was going to strike the woman again but noticed one of the witnesses on the phone and left the area.
Saliva faces charges for felony assault with a weapon and misdemeanor criminal mischief.
