Crash victim identified as Great Falls resident

The man who died in a crash on Saturday near Cascade has been identified as Brian Lee.

Lee, 58 years old, was from Great Falls, according to Cascade County Sheriff Bob Edwards.

According to the Montana Highway Patrol, Lee was making a right-hand turn off of 1st Street SW near I-15, but was going too fast.

His vehicle rotated several times and then rolled.

Lee was not wearing a seatbelt, according to the MHP, and was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene..

The MHP says that it is continuing to investigate to determine if alcohol was a factor in the crash.


(1st Report, April 28The Montana Highway Patrol says that a person died in a crash in Cascade County on Saturday.

According to the MHP, it happened just south of the town limits of Cascade along 1st Street SW (Frontage Road).

The crash was reported to the MHP at 6:59 p.m. on Saturday.

The name of the victim and the cause of the crash have not yet been released.
