The Boutique located at 122 Central Avenue in downtown Great Falls will soon close its doors.

The Boutique has been open since 2007 and is owned by mother and daughter pair, Deb and Melissa Lins.

Between Melissa moving away soon and Deb being a full-time teacher, they cannot find the time to keep the business up and running.

The Boutique sells a variety of women’s clothing including: dresses, jeans, Sneak Peek apparel, Flying Monkey apparel, tank tops, blouses, jackets, necklaces, earrings, shoes and hand bags.

They started selling some men’s clothing at the beginning of the year.

Right now, all regular-priced merchandise is marked 40 percent off and clearance is marked down to 75 percent off.

Pat Corn, who was the original owner of the store, has worked off and on as a clerk since it opened.

When asked what she will miss most, she answered, “I’ll miss the activity and the people most. People come in from a lot of different places, different towns around the state as well as different countries even.”

She added that Central Avenue is a fun block for a business and that they refer to it as the fun hundred block.

Deb and Melissa Lins are sad about the closure, but hopeful to find a buyer so the boutique will remain open.

Candace Morley, the manager of the store, added, “We are hoping they find a buyer so we can all still be here.”

If a buyer does not take over, The Boutique will officially close on June 9.
