KRTV is hiring a Newscast Director.
Job Description:
Candidate will direct and technical direct TV newscasts and is responsible for the on-air look of newscasts.
Duties will include but are not limited to the following: Directing and technical directing; coordinating video exchanges with other MTN stations; working closely with producer/anchors and reporters, operating control room and studio equipment; building graphics and audio and video switching during newscasts. Ross Inception experience is preferred.
Other Requirements: Candidate must have good verbal and written communication skills; must be able to work independently, exhibit excellent organizational skills, work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Experience using non-linear editing systems, Ross XPression, and video cameras.
