Victim of crash in Fergus County identified

The man who died in a rollover crash east of Lewistown on Thursday has been identified as 34-year-old Bradley Don Tudahl of Florence, according to Fergus County Coroner R.J. Brown.

The crash occurred around 7:20 p.m. near mile marker 97 on U.S. Highway 87 between Lewistown and Grass Range.

Fergus County Sheriff’s deputies, Central Montana Medical Center Ambulance, the Montana Highway Patrol, and Cheadle Fire Department all responded.

Tudahl was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by the MHP and the Fergus County Coroner’s Office.


(September 7, 2017) A man died in a rollover crash east of Lewistown on Thursday.

It happened at around 7:24 p.m. near mile marker 97 of U.S. Highway 87. between Lewistown and Grass Range.

According to Montana Highway Patrol, the man was westbound on U.S. Highway 87.

He failed to negotiate a left-hand turn and went off the right side of the road.

The 34-year old driver was ejected from the car and died at the scene.

According to the MHP, alcohol, drugs, and speed are likely factors in the crash.

He was also not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.

The man’s name has not yet been released.
