
Emergency crews are at the scene of what is being reported as a possible collision between a pedestrian and a vehicle.
It happened just after 6 p.m. on Thursday along 10th Avenue South between 20th Street and 21st Street.
We have received reports that police have blocked at least one lane of traffic; drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible for a while, or be prepared to stop or slow down, or possibly detoured.
There is no word yet on whether anyone has been seriously injured.

(UPDATE, 7:41 p.m.) Jessica Russell Scoggin posted on the KRTV Facebook page: “it was really bad when I passed there was a person on the ground surrounded by people and looked like 3 cars involved, cop heading west had to climb over median to get around the backed up traffic”
(UPDATE, 9:09 p.m.) The Great Falls Police Department says that a 17-year-old male was jaywalking, was struck by a vehicle, and taken to a hospital.
There is no word at this time on the nature or severity of his injuries; the GFPD is continuing to investigate.
