AMBER Alert canceled; children are safe

(UPDATE, 11:19 p.m.) The AMBER alert for the Arnold and Roe children has been canceled, according to the Montana Department of Justice; the children have been located safe.

The Flathead County Sheriff's Office thanks the community for the assistance.

No other details have been released; we wil update you if we get more information.



(1st REPORT, 10:41 p.m.) The Montana Department of Justice has issued an AMBER Alert for three children taken in a non-custodial family abduction.

The children are siblings and are: Rebecca Roe, 11 years old 5 foot 4, 120 pounds, brown hair and eyes.; Aaron Arnold, 5 years old, 4 foot 3, 70 pounds, blond hair, blue eyes; Mark Arnold, 3 years old, 4 foot 1, 68 pounds, blond hair, blue eyes.

The three children have been taken from the Kokanee Bend Fishing Access Site in Columbia Falls by their uncle Duane Arnold in a stolen 2002 green Chevrolet Silverado pickup with Montana plates 7-23631C.

Duane is on felony probation at this time and has no known address.
