MISSOULA — A popular Missoula restaurant has temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.

The Mustard Seed at the Southgate Mall stated in a Facebook post that they were notified on Monday that an employee had tested positive for the coronavirus.

The closure was done "out of an abundance of caution and to allow the facility to be thoroughly cleaned and sanitized."

They also said: "We have notified our team members that may have had close contact to this employee and have advised them to get testing and to stay at home and self-isolate following CDC guidelines if they are experiencing any symptoms."

There is no word at this point on when the location will reopen.
