Armed robber hits Billings convenience store

BILLINGS — Billings police are investigating an early Monday morning armed robbery.

The robbery happened at 3:48 a.m. at 3150 King Avenue West, according to a Twitter post by Sgt. Matt Lennick. The address corresponds to a Town Pump convenience store.

Lennick said a white man wearing a black hoodie, mask, and gloves displayed a firearm to an employee and ran away from the store with about $2,800 in cash.

The suspect has not yet been found. There were no injuries reported. We will update you if we get more details.
