GREAT FALLS — Nicholas Adam Geike has been charged after he allegedly held a gun to a man's neck at the R&R Casino in Great Falls.
Court documents say that a police officer was called to the R&R at 5:36 pm on Saturday, February 15 for a report of a man brandishing a gun.
Witnesses told the officer that Geike confronted the victim at the bar due to how the victim had been treating him. The two began arguing, and then Geike pulled out a gun and held it to the victim's neck.
The probable cause affidavit says the officer then reviewed surveillance video of the incident, which showed Geike walk up to the victim at the bar. The two men shook hands and looked at each other. The victim stood up and stood face-to-face with Geike.
The affidavit states: "Geike then removed a silver pistol from his vest, and put it up to (victim's) neck. He shoved him back, and bent him backward over the bar. Geike kep the gun to (victim's) neck when he bent him over the bar."
R&R employees came out from behind the bar and separated the two men.
Neither Geike nor the victim would talk with the officer.
Geike has been charged with assault with a weapon (felony), and carrying a concealed weapon in a prohibited place (misdemeanor).
The court documents note that bail of $17,500 was requested, and if Geike is able to be bonded out, he must undergo active alcohol monitoring, either by wearing a SCRAM device, or by participating in the 24/7 Sobriety Program.
