BILLINGS — The Sweet Grass County Sheriff's Office is investigating a homicide that occurred at a Big Timber apartment building on Tuesday.
According to a press release from the Sheriff's Office, the death was a result of a gunshot wound.
It happened just before 5:30 p.m. at an apartment building on West 8th Avenue.
One suspect is in custody, and law enforcement officers will remain in the area for the duration of the primary investigation.
The Sheriff's Office said there is no public safety threat.
Identification of the victim has not yet been released, pending notification of next of kin.
