GREAT FALLS — Todd Steven Martin has been charged with felony deceptive practices in Great Falls.

Court documents alleged that a report of fraudulent charges on a man's debit card was made several weeks ago.

The victim, identified in court documents as TS, had been arrested in July and a family member noticed several charges on TS's account that happened while he was in custody.

The transactions totaled $1,573.66.

Court documents state that video surveillance was obtained of two transactions, and the person using the debit card in both cases was identified as Martin.

When questioned by police, Martin admitted that he had used the card, and claimed that he had intended to pay TS back once TS was released from custody.

The court documents also state: "It should be noted that Todd has a restraining order against TS."

Bond for Martin was set at $1,500.
