Charges have been dismissed against Katrina Morsette, who triggered a large police presence at a home near 9th Street South and 3rd Avenue on Friday evening.
She was taken into custody on a pending felony charge of criminal endangerment.
Judge John Kutzman did not find probable cause to file charges against 27-year-old Morsette.
According to the Great Falls Police Department, Morsette had fired a gunshot into the air and people inside a nearby residence felt threatened.
Police surrounded the home and Morsette was taken into custody about 45 minutes after officers arrived.
Cascade County Attorney Josh Racki says the charges were dismissed on Monday morning.
There is no word yet on whether prosecutors plan to file any other charges in connection with the incident.

We have also received reports that some of the officers have their weapons drawn, and that officers have blocked traffic in the area.
Several people have come out of a house at the request of the officers.
We have also received one unconfirmed report that a person inside the residence may be armed.
At this point, the GFPD has not released any information about the incident.
