Kids in Great Falls began bundling up for winter on Saturday with some help from local groups.
The Knights of Columbus held their annual Coats for Kids giveaway at St. Vincent de Paul from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
The Knights had about 200 new coats on hand to give to area children.
St. Vincent de Paul also had free adult coats to giveaway to take care of the entire family.
Anyone in need was able to look through the selection and pick out the coat they liked best.
“It’s very fulfilling to see the young people come in and pick out their coats and how proud they can be having that new coat available for them and in addition to the coats, we have the gloves and some headgear for the young people,” Ken McGuire with the Knights of Columbus said.
Coats not given to kids on Saturday will be donated to children at the Cameron Family Center at a later time.
