GREAT FALLS– Mrs. Wright’s Pastys have been sold at the farmer’s markets in Great Falls for two years.
You could also purchase these delicious treats through her Facebook page.
But now, owner Paulette Wright will have them available for you to pick up at a new location.
“It’s exciting. I kind of don’t believe that I am this far in the process,” Wright said.
Paulette remembers her mom making pasty’s as a kid. She recalls road trips that would consist of pasty lunches. Now she is taking her mother’s recipe and making them available to people in the electric city.
“I thought I’d start just by making pasty’s, and it just kind of grew and grew,” Wright said.
With the help from her daughters, she will be running her business from an office in the Times Square building located off of Central Avenue.
On the upper level floor, you can walk in and order a bag of pasty’s that will be frozen for you to take home and bake yourself.
On Paulette’s business card, she tells you how to cook them for the best outcome.
“I’ve updated my google account and now we have a location. They won’t have to just call and try to find me,” Wright said.
Paulette is from Butte, her slogan? “Butte Pastys Done Wright”
“I’m really excited to give people of Great Falls a place where they can come and get Mrs. Wright’s Pastys,” Wright said.
On February 18th, Paulette is hosting a grand opening for her new location.
You can go and taste her pasty’s hot and ready to go from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
After that, she expects to be open Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
