Students from Lincoln Elementary and both C.M. Russell High School and Great Falls High School had the opportunity to be guest presenters at the Great Falls Ad Club Wednesday afternoon.

Four elementary students from Lincoln, who participated in their version of “Shark Tank” in December, presented.

Sixth grader Meredith Trunkle said, “I just think this is a cool opportunity for students to do more than just go in class and learn.”

High school students were first place finishers at the recent Business Professionals of America (BPA) competition in categories such as Business Prepared Speaker, a Video Production Team, a Financial Analyst Team and Small Business Management Team.

BPA is the leading career and technical student organization for students pursuing careers in business management, office administration, information technology, coding, and other related career fields.

All 13 CMR BPA students along with the entire team of 18 GFH BPA students qualified to compete at the state level in Billings on March 10-12.

This is the first time Ad Club had student presenters. The opportunity allowed the young entrepreneurs and business students to present, answer questions and network with the group.
