Great Falls City Planning Board members voted Tuesday to recommend that city commissioners allow the annexation of two land parcels into the city.

Love’s Travel Stop & Country Stores proposed to buy four parcels of land near I-15 and the Great Falls International Airport.

Two of the parcels are owned by Airport Authority, but the other two parcels are privately owned and are located outside the city.

The two privately owned parcels will need to be annexed into city limits.

The city’s planning and community development director said once the Planning Board gets confirmation from Love’s that all four parcels are purchased, the board will schedule a meeting with city commissioners.

Commissioners will then have to approve the annexation, the zoning application and a development agreement for Love’s to move forward with their project.
