According to the GFPD, a vehicle was stolen at approximately 8 a.m. from the Marketplace parking lot. The vehicle owner’s dog, Lil Bits, was inside the vehicle when it was taken.

Lil Bits is a male black lab mix with a white chest patch. He has a black collar with red roses, however, the dog may not have the collar on.

The vehicle, which is a 2013 black Ford Escape, had very little gas and has clear tape over a back window that was broken out. The vehicle’s Montana license plates read ‘2-46677B.’

The GFPD shared a photo of a similar vehicle, but not the actual vehicle that was stolen.

If you see the vehicle, or Lil Bits, you’re asked to call 911. GFPD advised not approaching the vehicle, but waiting for officers to arrive.
