GREAT FALLS — The Alliance For Youth will host substance-abuse prevention forum in Great Falls. On January 20th, they will be hosting their second SAPA (Substance Abuse Prevention Alliance) Summit.

This will be their first in-person summit since going virtual last year.

Alliance For Youth will be meeting with county, city, and state Officials to discuss growing concerns regarding substance abuse across the community.

Beth Price Morrison, who serves as the Substance Abuse Prevention Manager at Alliance For Youth, explained, "We wanted to have more of that one-on-one conversation with our elected officials and the people who served on our Cascade County Substance Abuse Prevention Alliance."

She continued, "It's just to learn more about what we're are seeing in our community, what's cropping up, what's trending ... It's more awareness of what's going on and also action steps to take to be in contact with our elected officials with concerns we have and to protect our youth from stumbling upon substances."

The event will be on January 20th from 6:00pm - 7:30pm at Alliance For Youth (3200 11th Avenue South).
