GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls Area Chamber of Commerce is encouraging businesses to help the community this holiday season.

It’s called the Chamber Challenge, and the idea was created by Kelley Aline and Michael Plummer, financial officers at Edward Jones.

They’re challenging Chamber businesses such as theirs to find a Great Falls business to support.

Aline and Plummer kicked off the challenge by ordering flower bouquets from Bloom & Bean for residents at Highgate Senior Living, a care facility.

"We know that 2020 has been really, really tough on folks and we know that there's people who are personally impacted by it but we also know that small businesses have been significantly impacted. So we wanted to be able to give back in our community in a way that is also meaningful to some other people,” Aline said.

As of Wednesday, several other businesses had started participating in the challenge.
