GREAT FALLS — (UPDATE, 2:58 pm) The crash has been cleared, and the road is now open. No other information has been released at this point.

(1st Report, 2:40 pm) Emergency personnel are at the scene of a crash on Northwest Bypass just west of the 3rd Street NW intersection.

The Great Falls Police Department said at about 2:15 p.m. that officers have blocked westbound Northwest Bypass from 3rd Street NW to 6th Street NW.

That is the road between Montana ExpoPark and the new North 40 building (formerly Kmart).

The GFPD says that at least one person has been injured, but no other details are available at this point.

Drivers should avoid the area if possible, or expect delays as emergency personnel work to clear the scene.

The GFPD said: "Please find an alternate route and stay out of the way of emergency responders."

We will update you if we get more details.
