BLACK EAGLE — Emergency crews responded to a fire that scorched grass and a collapsed building in Black Eagle.
It happened Thursday afternoon along 24th Street Northeast.
Several agencies responded to the fire.
David Byrne lives nearby and said trash burning in a burn barrel is what started the fire.
The person reportedly did have a burn permit.
There were no injuries, and at this point, no citations have been issued.
