GREAT FALLS — The Cascade City-County Health Department is hosting the first of two flu shot clinics on Thursday, September 19th. The Thursday event is a drive-through clinic at Montana ExpoPark, and runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.

The second event will be a walk-in flu shot clinic on Tuesday, September 24th, from noon until 4:30 p.m. at the Exhibition Hall at Montana ExpoPark. There will also be free coffee and cookies.

CCHD will accept all forms of payment, including insurance, at both clinics. Attendees are asked to bring their insurance cards. With most insurances there will be no cost. For other forms of payment, the cost of the flu shot is $30, excluding High-Dose vaccine.

CCHD encourages people to get their flu shot from immunization experts through one of these clinics. Immunization staff working these clinics have received extensive training in proper vaccine storage and giving vaccinations safely, and High-Dose vaccine will be offered for those 50 and older.
