GREAT FALLS — The Downtown Great Falls Association recently sent out a survey to see how businesses felt about staying open later on Thursdays as the holiday season approaches.
The DGFA said more than half of the businesses who answered the survey said they were willing to stay open later.
As a result, the DGFA is encouraging downtown shops to stay open later on Thursdays starting in November.
Thursdays were the night most suggested by businesses.
There is no word yet on which businesses plan to participate.
