GREAT FALLS — The Great Falls Clinic has been able to buy a new ventilator to help those suffering from COVID-19, thanks to the generosity of Robyne "Missi" Phillips.

She has been a resident of Great Falls for 37 years. She first heard about the Great Falls Clinic shortly after the Air Force relocated her and her late husband Bill to Great Falls from Australia in 1983.

Robyne and her husband experienced several health issues over the years and were always treated at the Great Falls Clinic. She says they stayed with the clinic because of their outstanding service and care.

The Great Falls Clinic honors their top donor every month, and Robyne received the Donor of the Month award for December 2020. She was able to make a $16,000 contribution to the Great Falls Clinic that allowed staff to purchase a new ventilator to help more Montanans suffering from COVID.

“I heard the nurses talking and that’s what gave me the idea to donate the ventilator, they were really going to need it and I knew after Thanksgiving and after the holidays, they might really need it. We might have a really bad spike and might really need it then so that’s what I did,” Robyne told KRTV News.

Robyne hopes that her contribution will help the clinic care for more patients and inspire more people to donate if they can. To make a donation and learn more about Robyne, you can visit the Great Falls Legacy Foundation’s website.
