The Montana State Fair had something for everybody: unique eats for food lovers, rides for thrill seekers, and hands-on exhibits for creative kids.
Great Falls' Montana State Fair is the only fair in the state with a hobby and Lego section.
It includes several hands-on activities for kids of all ages, like Legos, Tinkertoys, and robotics.
The Hobby and Legos exhibit is in the Harvest Building and the robots are right across in the Mercantile building.
Superintendent of the Hobby Department, April Wendt, told MTN News why kids enjoy that section of the fair.
“Kids can come, they can play with legos, or they can play with tinker toys for free. Between two and five they can come and build a model and take it with them. Or all day long they can go and run a robot. So this is a big place where kids can use their imagination and play."
The exhibit also showcased creative lego designs and models built by kids of all ages.
