GREAT FALLS — Great Falls will be getting some "love" soon, as Love’s Travel Stop plans to break ground on the southwest side of town.

After four months of trying to annex two properties into the city’s jurisdiction, the Great Falls City Commission announced that construction will begin on Love's within the next year.

The company hopes to begin work as soon as this fall but may have to wait until spring depending on the weather.

The $12-million dollar project will include up to two fast-food options and create jobs for an estimated 30 to 40 workers; there is no word yet on what eateries they may be.

The City Commission will meet on Wednesday, September 11, to discuss the project in more detail.

The proposed site will be near the Great Falls International Airport off of I-15 southbound.

The company website says that Love's was founded in 1964 and is headquartered in Oklahoma City, and has more than 490 locations in 41 states.
