GREAT FALLS — KatieLou Eney, a second-grade teacher at West Elementary School, shared with KRTV video of a mini-parade on Tuesday. Parents and students drove through the parking lot of the school as teachers and staff lined the "parade route," with cheerful shout-outs and virtual high-fives along the way.
Ever since schools were closed in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic, schools and students have been coming up with ways to show how much they appreciate and miss seeing each other.
KatieLou said: "During this difficult time, we wanted to make sure our students were able to see all of us! This has been very hard on all of us. It was great to see all of them!"
