GREAT FALLS — Mountainfilm On Tour is heading to Great Falls, bringing a selection of documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm festival which is held every Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado.

The event will be on Sunday, March 8th, at the Lewis & Clark Interpretive Center.

Event organizers say the show will explore themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission: to use the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.

Among the short features that will be presented: Women in Fire; Broken; Cowboy; The Wild Inside; and Cracking Ice Ceilings. Click here for more details and complete schedule.

Doors open at 6:00. Food, beverages, and raffle tickets will be available before the films start at 7:00. There will be an intermission at about 8:15 pm when raffle prizes will be awarded, and the second batch of films will begin shortly after. The event will finish at around 9:30 pm.

Online ticket sales will end Friday, March 6th at 5 pm; click here if you would like to buy tickets. Organizers anticipate a limited number of tickets will also be available at the door the night of the event, but note that last year's event did sell out. Guests are invited to bring cash for the bar and raffle tickets.

You can also buy tickets at Bighorn Outdoor Specialists at 206 5th Street South.
